STM Degree Program Track 3 Curriculum OT 501 - Advanced Study in Old Testament Theology Under the guidance of his academic supervisor, the student will select a specific area for in-depth study. A research paper on the selected topic will be required. (3 Credits) NT 501 - Advanced Study in New Testament Theology Special research topic in the New Testament selected by the student and approved by his advisor. A research paper on the topic will be required. (3 Credits) TH 501 - Contemporary Issues in Theology Radical Orthodoxy and current issues such as Intelligent Design will be explored. A research paper will be required. (3 Credits) CH 501 - Advanced Study in Church History Research and a paper on a special topic or period of Church History. The student is encouraged to pursue a topic in Patristics or the history of the Anglican tradition. (3 Credits) LIT 501 - Special Study in Liturgics The student is encouraged to develop a major research project on some aspect of Liturgical Practice or Theology, preferably in the Anglican tradition. (3 Credits) THESIS - Under the guidance of a Thesis Advisor, the student will develop and defend orally a Thesis on a Faculty approved Subject. (5 Credits) Total additional credits required for the STM Degree - 20 |
